Forsyth Humane Society has found its future home on Country Club Road in Winston-Salem, in the former location of the Yacht House restaurant! Today, FHS launched its capital campaign in a special ceremony at the site. Ruff Housing is proud to be one of its business supporters, and our owner Kim Vaughn is serving as the FHS Capital Campaign chair.
Vaughn and several other business leaders and members of the community were in attendance, including Mayor Allen Joines, actress and longtime FHS supporter Rosemary Harris, FHS Executive Director Sarah Williamson, Brent Campbell, FHS Board President Anna Marie Smith, and Salem Gymnastics co-owner Beth Morphis.
