Thank you for your interest in working at Ruff Housing. As you probably guessed, all employees at Ruff Housing must have a genuine love for dogs because all of our employees work with all sizes and breeds of dogs on a daily basis. But, of course, there is much more to each of our jobs then just having a love for dogs.
Our Playroom Attendants are responsible for supervising multiple dogs in a playroom at one time. They are also responsible for keeping the playrooms and outdoor playgrounds clean at all times. This is a very active and physical job and you would be a good fit if you enjoy being on your feet, playing indoors and outdoors and if you have a very happy, positive attitude.
Our Lodging Specialists are responsible for taking care of the dogs that are lodging with us. They prepare the meals, clean the sleeping areas, administer medications, provide playtimes for dogs in private retreat and complete daily charts on each dog detailing how much they ate at each meal, their bathroom habits and other information that helps us keep informed about at dog's stay. Typically Lodging Assistants have worked as Playroom Attendants for a while before becoming Lodging Assistants.
Our Overnight Specialists stay with the dogs at night. They stay in the slumber party room with the dogs throughout the night as well as check on all of the dogs several times during the night. Most Overnight Specialists have worked as Playroom Attendants or Loging Assistants.
Customer Service Specialists work at our front desk. They check the clients in and out , make reservations, keep track of paperwork and enter information into our computer system. Our Customer Service Specialists also take the dogs to the appropriate playroom or other area of our facility and they sometimes work in our playrooms with the dogs as well.
